mcrobloxskins.com (“the Site”) does not require an account, does not collect uploaded skin files, and runs the entire conversion inside your browser. The Site does use Google Analytics for traffic measurement and Google AdSense to serve ads, both of which set cookies. This page describes exactly what is collected, by whom, and what you can do about it.
The Site has no backend database and no user accounts. When you upload a Minecraft skin PNG, the file is read by JavaScript running in your browser, processed locally, and the resulting Roblox templates are returned as downloads. No part of the uploaded file is transmitted to a server controlled by the operator of the Site.
If you choose to load a skin by Minecraft username, your browser sends a request to Mojang's public skin endpoint (api.mojang.com / textures.minecraft.net). That request goes directly from your browser to Mojang and is subject to Mojang's own privacy policy. The Site does not log or store the usernames you look up.
The Site uses two third-party services that may set cookies in your browser:
_ga.Both services are operated by Google LLC. Their use of cookies is governed by Google's own privacy policies, available at policies.google.com/privacy. You can opt out of personalised advertising from Google at adssettings.google.com.
Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on the Site. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visits to the Site and to other sites on the Internet. Users may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Ads Settings, or opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalised advertising by visiting aboutads.info.
The Site does not ask you for, and does not knowingly collect, any personally identifying information — no names, email addresses, account credentials, or payment details. The only data that can be associated with your visit is what Google Analytics and Google AdSense collect as described above, which is handled by Google under its own privacy terms.
The Site is a general-audience utility tool. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has somehow been identified through the Site, please contact us via the contact page and we will investigate.
If this policy changes, the “Last updated” date at the top of the page will change too. Substantive changes (for example, adding a new analytics or advertising provider) will be reflected in updated copy on this page.
Questions about this privacy policy can be sent through the contact page.
